Monday, March 16, 2015mail geeks. I feel so at home! This month myself and some of the other coop members
have been exchanging Portland-themed mail art. Thus, I have briefly detoured from my month of
alphabet mail. I guess I could have combined the two, but doing that
only occurred to me just now, as I write this post!
This is a photo of my favorite of Portland's bridges, the St John's Bridge.
122- Homage to Tinder {JannaK}
Tuesday, March 10, 2015I am so glad to be a boring, married person as I hear all the crazy, bad, and weird "dating" experiences of younger friends thanks to the silly Tinder app. In all fairness, the app gets the job done, and I don't think it really changes much, other than potentially making a false and slightly better first impression. ;)
The front side is concealed due to wanting to surprise the recipient. ;). If I remember, I will post it once it's been received!

In Australia, we are remembering the Centenary of our soldiers landing at Gallipoli in World War 1 - here we tend to think it was when our country achieved an identity & we cut the apron strings with Brittain. Our soldiers first went to Egypt for some training before being deployed. This is all done from one piece of material - cut & collaged - really happy with it.
121- Death takes a holiday {JannaK}
Monday, March 09, 2015Just a funny piece that came together this way. I'm always reading (I should read less and make more mailart!) A good many of my choices are a bit weird and frequently personify death, so I got to thinking about what a drag being the grim reaper might be. ;). Even death must need a holiday now and then!
