6 / Flowers in city
Sunday, June 19, 2011I was making this postcard for three days and I don't find right materials to finish it. Some pink beads added final touch for it and I completed my postcard today.
I get idea to use map, from fantastic mail art makers postcards with map backgrounds. My first idea was to add one color background and add dingy edges map. I made this and I taught that this don't look good, so I cut some flowers and my postcard was nearly completed.
As you see, paper look like old - I made this effect with water and glue mix. Also you can see some holes from that you can see words or one color background.
Today I added final touch - a pink beads row around flowers.
5 / Green fairy
Sunday, June 19, 2011Today was my mail art day. My room was filled with magazines, paper piles and patterns stacks. I was making and making postcards all day long!
My first postcard was very simple. In old magazine found fragrance advertisement with girl who looks like fairy. I cut her off and found really colorful pattern for background. Some glue strokes and my postcard is completed!
4 / Princess wishes
Saturday, June 18, 2011Today I was going trough my magazines and catalogs pile, when my eyes caught old gems and beads catalog. I taught that I need to make postcard from pink and blue, transparent beads. I started cutting beads (it took me a half hour!) and put a collage. I get a coffee break and I found old fashion journal. I skim it and found old Luella collection model which perfectly fits to my collage! Before putting this model legs I put pink flowers background (from old catalog cover).
The last touch was violet word "Wishes". It look like really cute and perfectly fits to my collage!
Now I need to found a princess which would like to get this postcard...
3 / Coffee paradise
Thursday, June 16, 2011My inspiration was a big cup of coffee, so I decided to do postcard inspired to coffee. I found really nice picture with coffee cup, stamp, some coffee beans pictures and large brown chocolate piece. For background I used dark brown hard paper with some words on it.
I think, it's one of my best ever made postcard. Does someone know how to add coffee smell to postcard? :)

Hope you like my 2nd postcard!
P.s. Today I made realllyy green postcard, but I don't like it very much... I also had postcard there dog is wearing... (can you guess? :) )
