I started weaving maps in 2002, making big pieces of artwork with them. Today, I felt the need to weave, to make some new places out of old ones. These might be worth something, not because they are art, but because anything sent via the mail, with a stamp on it, in the future might be something valuable as a collectible.

Great idea, Mim! I love to weave and feel a weave coming on and will hopefully send it out through the postal system.

I like the combination of butterfly and map and you are right about the possibility of it being worth something as who knows how long stamps will be around...well, as long as people are willing to buy them to collect but you don't unfortunately really need one to send anything as Post Office in the U.K. keener to use labels! Let's not stamp out stamps, keep using them!
