Malala Yousufzai is my hero. This months issue of Amnesty Internationals magazine has her on the front page.
If you don't know who Malala is, she is a 14 year old girl in Pakistan who was shot by the Taliban for demanding an education for girls. Sometimes, working in education in England I forget that some parts of the world still deny this basic human right to girls.
"I don't mind if I have to sit on the floor at school. All I want is education. And I'm afraid of no-one"
She is such an inspiration and I hope they bring the bastards who shot her to justice

This shouldn't be without comment - great image and well said. How many people make topical or political mailart? : > )

I'm quite relieved that this didn't go unnoticed. I'm not particularly political but occasionally something moves me enough to put together a piece of art for change. It seemed to work when I wrote to the Evening Standard
