We used to call these floppy disks but they were hard. Now they are dead technology. I can't access the information on them. This one had information for a studio class that I taught at university.

I've just had a look around the office to see if there is a floppy disk drive anywhere. Thought I may be able to salvage those classes for you, but there isn't a single drive in the whole place. I guess that's progress.
Definitely what I would call progress is the use of Floppy Disks as mailart. That's progress!

I still have a camera that uses the floppy as film. It's called a Mavica. You can purchase an external drive for them.

Surely that's a total of 1 photo per disk isn't it!

I like the idea of information that is inaccesible - the disks are like hidden treasure that no one will ever see. Dead technology lives on as art!
