Apparently Andy Warhol was a huge fan of Ray Johnson, the early New York Correspondence School pioneer and best known promoter of Mailart. It's said that he would have paid $10 for anything by Ray. The 2 artists actually met in 1956 and designed book covers together and Warhol appeared in one of his collage series.
Here, in homage to Andy Warhol and with a little bit of the mischief of Ray Johnson, I made this to send to a Sharpie buyer in Cyprus. Can't wait to bring it to the Post Office and see what it looks like when it's finished
UPDATE - When I took this to the Post Office they protested about me putting the stamp on the side opposite the envelope. I do suspect that his will actually get sent back. Got my fingers crossed, as it's £3.16 we're talking about
