Mailart 365 has moved

Lyra has been loving the snow and is taking a rest after wrenching my arm around the meadows. this was sent to Lauren and Ken who are dog lovers but had never heard of a lurcher. Our thatchers hand-poicked her at the Stow Cum Quay agricultural show from Dave Sleight, a lurcher guru.

Working through another kid project makes me get itchy for a voyage.

Even the name Cappadocia makes me smile.  Not sure why this stunningly beautiful place came out dark and sinister here?

Provoked by an amazing letter from a stranger, I wonder who I want to be in mailart.  How much should I tell? Do I show my personal or public self?

Spent the gap after dinner thinking about Bonnard.  Which visual artist should I 'homage'? How do I merge poetry, the visual and ideas without being old fashioned. I always need to go through every step.

This is an added and pass, it is looking kind of scary or creepy!

This is ready to be returned to "E" in France it is an add and pass. He sent it with the red and green profile lines on the right side, I added some of the red hair and eye. I went to a collage workshop and passed this among some of the people that attended they added more elements, then I added more. It was fun to see how it developed, I love how it turned out.

 I bought one of Eva's hat creations this summer in Maine. I wanted to thank her.  It is warm.

I sent this to my boyfriend who went onto to be my husband and now I'm sending it back this mother to show how far we've got on our studio.

This side has old book bits, vintage stamps and selvedges, an old newspaper ad from 1947, an acetone transfer from a scientific clip-art book, and a couple of koi from a California dumpster.....
