As most of you will have gathered I am hosting a mailart exhibition around the theme of Islands. there is still time to send something in, so don't be shy!
Island Mailart
PO Box 84
Cranberry Isles, Maine, 046525
USA
Here are the latest six I sent in. the poem on the back reads:
My groundhog day
is arriving:
Jigsaw of boats
Recalling port, starboard, lee and how to fasten a knot
So the boat doesn’t beach
The sound of a coin dropping in a mountain dew machine
Freshly cut cucumbers
High tide
Twinkle of sea glass
Tar and splinters
And somebody’s’ son
diving from the crest of the dock.
You can see all the work that has arrived so far at:

The deadline is the 20th, when we hang the show (opening the same day)! It will be up for a week and I will behosting a day of mailart making at the Cranberry Island Community Center on the 24th. all work that is received will be posted on the blog and I will make a catalogue of the show and post it to all people who send in. Hope to see more of you in the post!
