This is another one from Black Jack volume 12 and is a guest appearance by the artist himself, Osamu Tezuka. Tezuka regularly appears in his own works. In Black Jack he mainly plays a doctor who studied with Black Jack, as in this story. I only noticed, when I had finished the piece, that I had drawn a toothpaste tube on the back, so I figured it would work pretty well to make this a piece about dentistry.
Personally I can't bear going to dentists, and it's only because Elena makes me go at least once a year that I ever visit.
