My grandma Irene ("Nannie") broke her leg in four places yesterday. She's 87 and she's having surgery at 5pm today. She's going to have to go to rehab for a few weeks after her surgery. She's in a lot of pain but she's still as fiesty and spirited as ever. Before I left the hospital yesterday she made a 'dirty book' joke. I love her.
I'm telling you all this as a mail-art call of sorts. She loves purple. She loves anything dealing with purple. If you could make a piece of purple mail-art to send her that would be absolutely lovely. LOVELY. I'm going to visit her every day and I want to have things to bring her.
