I love this one because it has a bit of every language I encountered on my recent Asian odyssey along with a bit of my husbands practice writing of Chinese characters. But what I really love about it is that when I took it to a Chinese post office the woman behind the counter looked askance, flicked the edges with her fingernail, showed to two others employees, talked at length about it and looked at me and said simply "no". I was also mailing a normal postcard and she said "this postcard you bought, you can send but this is just a piece of paper". To which I replied "if you put a stamp on it it will be a postcard" she didn't really like that answer but after I told her that I'd done it a million times before she sold me a stamp but when I affixed the stamp and handed it back to her she told me I had to go drop it in the box outside. I think she wanted it out of her hands.
That was two weeks ago. Hasn't arrived yet.

I saw this earlier but didn'thave time to leave a comment. It's a great card with a great story and I do hope it shows up soon. It's kind of sad for it to be lost in transit.
