It's been a while since I graced these pages. I thought that I'd write you a few words of explanation. Towards the end of January (and in the middle of my alphabet series) I hit an artistic wall. I was tired of making mail art - and even worse, it wasn't fun anymore. It had been about 8 months since I started a daily mail art project - and what was exhilarating and exciting when I began had become just one more onerous responsibility, rather than a daily escape from onerous responsibilities. So I stopped making mail art for a while.
At first I meant to take a break for a week, but one week stretched to two, and then to a month. I've finally decided to return, but I'm honestly not sure how I'll feel in a month or two. Part of what made me decide to return again was receiving so many lovely pieces of art in the mail. I want to be around to see what you all are going to come up with next. (I am the only one who only person who watches people's developments by what shows up in my mail box? I can't keep up with all the posts on the blog!) That being said, if it stops being fun again, I'll stop doing it.

It is nice to have you back I hope you stay for a while. I have also taken breaks from things Iove beading, knitting etc. I usually come back renewed.

I'm glad you're back! I understand that sometimes you have to take a break and regroup. :)
