back
with doll in pocket
stitched into a vellum envelope...
I found a discarded library book in the FREE pile in my studio building yesterday, a catalog of works by an artist I'd never heard of, Samual Adler. I used the covers to make my mailhead, collaged some images from the book, and made a paper doll to go in the book pocket. I decided to put an envelope on this piece, so the doll doesn't go walkabout!
