Hannah, my eldest daughter had a nice selection of foam letters so I went for this which only used up four of them! Have sent it to the States so hopefully it will get there without any of the letters falling off!

mail art book Project 26. It was sent to jennlui, as she was one of
the very first mail artists, back in 2009, that introduced me to
mini-books.

65/365 - Daisy
Yay I'm back doing mailart. Planning a wedding, along with other million things I have to do, is not easy but I managed to come back into mailart scene.
As probably most of you know I love flowers. What you probably don't know is that I took a drawing class few weeks ago. And to be honest, that was one of the most boring classes I've done. And that's not because I don't like drawing, is because the teacher made us draw really dull stuff like empty bottles or women dummies. And even worse she would come around and tell us that we didn't draw that part properly but she wouldn't give us any hints how to do it better. She would let us struggle and waste (expensive) time till we get it (or not) right.
After two lessons I got bored and frustrated and gave up the course. I decided that rather than wasting my time drawing useless things I'll do better trying to teach my self how to draw things that I actually enjoy.
So this is the first of the flowers drawing series. I use the internet as my teacher and the good things is that I don't have to pay ridiculous amount of money to waste my time.

| Running behind in posting...this one went out Friday. Photos of some very old airmail stamps on envelopes that belong to a friend of mine. Collaged airmail strips around the border and added a couple of vintage stamps I had. Very red, white and blue, wouldn't you say? |

28 Feb. 2011 Just trying my hand at sketching from a how to draw a zombie search on Google. The left is a little disproportionate but it's ok. My daughter and husband love playing Nazi Zombies on the XBox 360 and Left for Dead.

an absolute "fluxus" one tomorrow. These two, last of the
pink-red-hearts cards, went to KAM in Hong Kong, China, and a dear
friend in Chicago who also makes hand-made greeting cards. It was fun
to fill the month of February with "LOVE"!
