The cat picture was from a birthday card I got a few weeks ago so I added a split 50p stamp booklet, two gold first class stamps used to actually send two birthday cards(the cat one and one other) then the Happy Birthday with mole greeting was made by Amelia(youngest daughter) and attached to my present from her!
Had some Italian stamps from an envelope at work which escaped cancellation and appear to depict fishing. I then added these coins images which were taken from remnants of an old Prestige stamp book. Might need to go fishing for some coins myself as now near the end of the month and not much money left!
25 Sept. 2011 for HPC: Layers of Flavor swap on swapbot. Cereal box with 1 application of white gesso. Torn papers applied with matte medium diluted with blue acrylic paint for a paint wash effect and gluing at same time. Apple cut in half and stamped pink ink on in lower left corner. Some letter b's, fleur de lys and the black onion net were stamped on but I wiped them off. Additional postage stamps, paint chip, brain, and air mail sticker glued on after base done. The haiku and Mt. Rainier is part of the torn paper base and is an old haiku and picture I took from an airplane that was a misprint for an old ATC swap.
