Mailart 365 has moved

Raspberries and the coloured drawers came from one of my trusted mailart sources, The Times Saturday magazine. Rubiks cube was taken from a nightclub advert and as you might know I've got stamps all over the place so there's never a shortage of those for mailart insertion. All gives rise to Retro Raspberry Drawers, now I wonder what might be inside them....!?

This is a great example of somebody putting their foot right in it! Taken from the back of a Royal Mail stamp Prestige the words read as follows:
"At an auction in 1904, the future King of England paid a world-record price for a single stamp when he acquired a Mauritius 2d blue for £1,450. Reportedly, one of George's secretaries had read about the record-breaking purchase in the newspaper, and remarked to the Prince that "some damned fool" had parted with an exceptional amount of money for just one stamp. His Royal Highness is said to have replied, "I am that damned fool." Oops!

Made using the usual Saturday magazine, advertising brochures, stickers and an old Hungarian stamp!

Cuttings from magazine, old Christmas brochure, product manuals/specifications, Chinese takeaway menu and an old stamp album page, all a bit run of the mill individually but rearranged thus, combined with stamp and wool sticker, it's a solar powered best seller!

Steering that yacht round the purple creature must be difficult so you've got to hand it to him!
