@craftgasm, week 52 (!!!)

Friday, January 18, 2013
I can't believe it's been a whole year since I started this project!  Here are the last of my MailArt365 pieces, all sent in the last weeks of December, 2012.

359/365, envelope decorated with Emerson quote stamp, catalog cut-out, and decorative packaging tape. Sent to Kristy in Indiana.

360/365, handmade envelope from a stock photography book of nature photos, with coordinating vintage postage. Sent to Jenna in North Carolina.

361/365, handmade envelope from a stock photography book of nature photos, with coordinating vintage postage, decorative tape, and gold foil letters.  Sent to Carolee in San Francisco.

362/365, envelope decorated with label selvage, catalog cut-out, and addressed with stencils.  Sent to Annie in San Francisco with vintage Christmas postage.

Lastly, some birthday envelopes for some special ladies.

363/365, handmade envelope from an outdated museum brochure.  Sent to Jen in New York.

364/365, handmade envelope from a USA Philatelic magazine. Sent to eco-loving Liz in Ohio.

And last, but not least, 365/365. Handmade envelope from the pages of USA Philatelic. Page full of people with a person on the coordinating postage.  Sent to Bridget in New Mexico.

Thanks so much for the chance to complete this project!  This certainly isn't the last of my mail art, so I'll post some more -- though I won't make myself record every piece of it for 2013.

Send more mail!

Melissa

@craftgasm, week 43

Monday, January 07, 2013
The end of the year meant it was time for holiday mail!

294/365, handmade envelope from a catalog page, plus washi tape and gold stickers & labels. Sent to the McGraths in Maryland.

295/365, a handmade envelope made from a junk mail catalog cover. Sent to Toby in Colorado.

296/365, a handmade envelope made from a junk mail catalog cover. Sent to Joe and Vicki in Virginia.

297/365, an envelope decorated with catalog pages, sparkly gold sticker selvage (which doesn't show up very nicely in this scan, unfortunately), washi tape, a silver star sticker, and a pre-made wintry tag for the name. Sent to the Hoffmans in Georgia.

298/365, a pre-made envelope decorated with a catalog page and a spark of irreverence from me. Sent to Liz in Ohio (who, lucky for me, has an excellent sense of humor).

284/365, an envelope made from the paper that came with my absentee ballot. I was supposed to put my voted ballot inside the "secrecy sleeve" but I just used a different folded piece of paper instead so I could keep the sweet graphics on the official one. Sent to Bonnie Jeanne in Pittsburgh.

285/365, an envelope made from a map and stamped with vintage postage. Sent to a member of the military through SoldiersAngels.com.

286/365, an envelope made from an inside-out security envelope and stamped with vintage postage. Sent to a member of the military through SoldiersAngels.com.

287/365, a reused junk mail envelope, stamped with vintage postage. Sent to Ana of Well-Appointed Desk in Missouri.

288/365, a handmade map envelope. Sent to Liz in Washington state.

289/365, a handmade map envelope. Sent to my mom in Florida.

290/365, a handmade map envelope. Sent to Anne of Letter Love in Pennsylvania.

291/365, a handmade map envelope. Sent to Annie in San Francisco.

292/365, a handmade envelope made from an old USPS catalog. Sent to Noah in Massachusetts.

293/365, a handmade envelope made from a discarded stock photography book. Sent to Joseph in New York.
