Mailart 365 has moved

Thanks for visiting Mailart 365. This site is an archive of mailart produced by artists doing mailart 365 from December 2010 to August 2016. As of July 2016, we moved to a new and more modern site at www.mailart365.com. Come on over and check us out there

200/365, handmade envelope with a typewritten letter going out with a typewriter stamp to Ana in Missouri.  (The beach on the back flap ruins the nearly-endless ocean look I was going for.)

201/365, handmade Pooh envelope with a letter tucked inside heading out to Laura in Michigan.

202/365, map envelope with floppy disk label heading out to PostMuse in Pittsburgh.

Because of my screwy personal logging system, 203 will have to wait until the next post.  Can you survive?

204/365, a handmade envelope with coordinating blue-and-pink postage heading out to MaryHasSound.

craftgasm, week 23

Tuesday, June 05, 2012
188/365, handmade security envelope collaged with all sorts of stickers: stamp and label selvedge, dots, foil stars, vintage "Special Delivery," wrap around numbers, Japanese file labels, library spine labels, map stickers, and vintage postage. Positioned the hamster on the stationery to peek out the window. Sent to Bonnie Jeanne in Pittsburgh.

189/365, handmade security envelope with most of the above, plus a freebie bumper sticker and measuring tape deco tape. Sent to Donovan in Chicago.

190/365, handmade security envelope with some of the above, plus glitter letter stickers, leftover bits of map from making my map stickers, and stickers cut from discarded bumper stickers..

191/365, handmade security envelope with some of the above, plus a bookplate address label. Worth noting that the "hope for the crippled" postage is headed to a strongly-worded letter to a friend's knee that has been a bitch to her for the past several months.

191/365, handmade postcard made with some packaging, label selvedge, map stickers, office dots, foil stars, Japanese labels, and maps and books. Sent to Rebecca in the UK.

#199 recycling

Thursday, April 26, 2012
Altering books and playing with through and on in non-mailart stuff and saw an advert in the recycling bin with stars and other shapes that felt like a good starting point.  Cut and glued and tested various scraps behind then added to. Had some running problems with gel glaze but like the speed feel that came about.
