Last one for the Challenge - inspiration taken from an article on Women's welbeing - shoes, makeup, handbags, hairdos - what else does a women need???????

Third in the Challenge - guess what the inspiration was - yep - a Golf Course!  Just happened to have some fabric golf themed - with a golfing husband, of course, there had to be some in my stash.

For a group challenge - inspiration from a page in a magazine - cakes were featured.

In Australia, we are remembering the Centenary of our soldiers landing at Gallipoli in World War 1 - here we tend to think it was when our country achieved an identity & we cut the apron strings with Brittain.  Our soldiers first went to Egypt for some training before being deployed.  This is all done from one piece of material - cut & collaged - really happy with it.

Same, same but different - this one is going to my swap partner in March.

Only 20 more to go - can I start counting down????  It's only taken me 4 years.  I am participating in a Postcard Swap & the first month's theme is 'The Reef' - of course, it has to be the Great Barrier Reef off our Queensland shores!!!

For my great-niece - who is such a girl - she turned 21 last week!

"Busy Bees" - again a flood damaged photo has been paper collaged and stitched on to a fabric fused background.

"High Tea" - damaged flood photo has been paper collaged & then sewn on to a fabric fused base.

Reminds me a bit of Aztecs - paper & fabric gluing & fusing.

Home Sweet Home!

Inspired by Sarah Churchill and Perdro Bericat, I got my iron out and wondered what would happen if you worked with plastic bags, copier film, sharpies and ink. I'm supposed to be solving what I'm going about the rainforest project etc... but it never works that way.
