Mailart 365 has moved

Dateline: Charlotte, NC. The Nascar community remains puzzled after veteran driven Jeff Gordon changes the DuPont Chevrolet #24 to #047. Believed to be the first 3-digit car number in the history of Nascar, Gordon had no comment.

This one uses a mail reply card for the base. Mail Art -- It's Fun in Any Language!

The word "art" plus postage makes this mail art in my world.

Simple...but that's the way I roll.

It's a rarity for a Postcrossing user to request a handmade postcard, but finally someone did. I think this is the second one I've had requested out of 257 sent.

This one was fun to do.

I hesitate to call this one art.

Not really.

When we eat out at our local Chinese restaurant, I almost always fold the paper silverware wrapper into a bow tie while waiting on our meal. I slipped this one into my purse and then onto this piece of mail art.

The scary thing about this one is that I didn't alter the image at all, simply glued it down.

I was heading in a different direction with this one, but Kailey, my three-year-old granddaughter, had other ideas. She gave this one some stamps of approval. I believe Kailey definitely has an artist's eye. What do you think?

I'd mail this to Brooks and Dunn if they were on my mailing list.

Here's the other card I made from the school girl ad. One of these might show up soon in a mailbox near you.

I found the school girl images in an ad and just kept looking through the magazine until I found text I thought might work.
