Mailart 365 has moved
Thanks for visiting Mailart 365. This site is an archive of mailart produced by artists doing mailart 365 from December 2010 to August 2016. As of July 2016, we moved to a new and more modern site at www.mailart365.com. Come on over and check us out there
Public Service Announcement
When reading super secret spy mail written in invisible ink, two properly functioning hands are practically a must. The better hand will be needed to operate the flame (a Bic lighter in this example) and the weaker hand can hold the note and move it around over the flame. I had no trouble reading the message, but nearly ignited the paper in a few spots. Have a fire extinguisher handy or alternately a partner to assist.
But then that creates another problem. You let someone read a For Your Eyes Only, so now you have to kill them.
# 91 March Madness
Did you catch March Madness?
#90 What does the fox say?
Do you know???
Mail Art #89 Nascar Community Mystified
Mail Art #88 Fun in Any Language
This one uses a mail reply card for the base. Mail Art -- It's Fun in Any Language!
Mail Art #87
The word "art" plus postage makes this mail art in my world.
Mail Art #86 Metal Bird
Simple...but that's the way I roll.
Mail Art #85 Jeans
It's a rarity for a Postcrossing user to request a handmade postcard, but finally someone did. I think this is the second one I've had requested out of 257 sent.
Mail Art #84 9 out of 10 Preferred
This one was fun to do.
Mail Art #83 Test Sample in Yellow
I hesitate to call this one art.
Mail Art #82 Action Required
Not really.
Mail Art #81 With Origami Bow Tie
When we eat out at our local Chinese restaurant, I almost always fold the paper silverware wrapper into a bow tie while waiting on our meal. I slipped this one into my purse and then onto this piece of mail art.
Mail At #80 Living Dead
The scary thing about this one is that I didn't alter the image at all, simply glued it down.
Mail Art #79 Stamp of Approval
I was heading in a different direction with this one, but Kailey, my three-year-old granddaughter, had other ideas. She gave this one some stamps of approval. I believe Kailey definitely has an artist's eye. What do you think?
Mail Art #78 Boot Scootin' Boogie
I'd mail this to Brooks and Dunn if they were on my mailing list.
Mail Art #77 Invisible Injury
Here's the other card I made from the school girl ad. One of these might show up soon in a mailbox near you.
Mail Art #76 Hushed Confessions
I found the school girl images in an ad and just kept looking through the magazine until I found text I thought might work.
