Mailart 365 has moved

Mercury retrograde doesn't just wreak havoc with our electronics, it also causes us to return to unfinished business. Like this Mailart 365 project. ;)

I've been really enjoying the use of crackle finish medium in my art journals so thought it would be fun to add some to this piece, which is a mishmash of so-called vintage bits and pieces that I've found for sale brand new. 

I love (in an ironic sense) the effort that some people go to to make things look old!  But I also indulge in it myself so there you go. ;). I have some lovely authentic vintage ephemera I should really use more of. Maybe that's what I'll come back to if I get stuck anytime soon. 

I have a huge stack of undocumented mail art on my desk. I had a lovely summer but creatively just wasn't feeling the love for what I was producing on the mixed media side of things. Now with the chill of winter creeping in, I feel much more content in my studio again and am starting to regain my equilibrium.
