My first piece for ages, I sat down with Elena in the conservatory this evening and started creating. I was like a man possessed and made 3 pieces in a row, letting time just fly by. It was way gone 1am when we stopped and it felt so good.
September and October are so hectic and we've moved house and everything, and we've been exhausted and dreaming of making art again.
I was just pleased to hammer this one out, it felt great.
An old catalogue sent to me by Paula was used in this piece. It's so delightful, just crammed full of lovely drawings and old old paper.
The frame was made from a museum brochure with the oval cut using one of our new cutting toys.
I love the idea of a horse just standing there, chewing the cud, and I'd love to see his face when he turns around, realises that he has no cart and there's a polar bear behind him.
