I read this letter/e-mail (text on the left of the image) in a very recent stamp magazine and it gave me the inspiration to create this piece which I think has turned out pretty well! E-mail/letter reads as follows:
"Along came a spider...
My home help came running to me one morning asking "What is that thing dangling in the air over your kitchen table?"
Imagine my surprise when I found that the "thing" was an imperforate Penny Red with a numeral cancel, apparently levitating about three feet above the place where I had been sorting through my hundreds of Queen Victoria stamps the previous day!
Closer investigation revealed a tiny spider, about a foot or so above the stamp, holding on to it with it web strand as if its life depended upon it.
Was this little arachnid about to embark on a stamp collection? Was it planning to dampen any remaining gum and use as a fly-catcher? Or was it just trying to acquire a large portrait of the Queen for displaying on its 'web' site?
I guess I'll never know."

This is fantastic! I am scared of spiders, but this card, and the story, make me so very happy.
