These were AWFUL paintings of flowers that I did years ago. A thin wash of gesso, some bubble wrap, and some stamp selvedges later....much better...

These are gorgeous! I love the way the bubble wrap works! I'm inspired. I need to play with gesso and textures to create backgrounds rather than rely on the pre-made backgrounds I typically used.
