I have been cutting up vintage cooking pamphlets. I enjoy cutting out images, but need to get better cutting tools. The 10 year old scissors I use are getting a bit ratty.
This will go to a former co-worker who recently posted a fun series of photos on her Facebook page detailing her own creative cooking. She titled the series "Cookie Massacre 2010." I will ask if there have been previous cookie massacres.

I was so happy when I got myself a pair of those small, really pointy, sharp scissors sold where scrapbooking supplies are sold. Cutting things out is so meditative. This is fun, like an old recipe card.

I've got little pointy scissors on my "to buy" list ... which is growing because I keep "needing" stuff to make MailArt365 more productive :-) One of the things I need to find, or design, is a container for my glues that will hold them upside down so the ink is always at the tip. I'm thinking something like a test tube holder, but with much bigger holes.
