Birds of Britain I 30 September 2011 (#216)
Background made up of some wrapping paper I had left, Birds of Britain Post & Go stamps are relatively new machine vended stamps from Royal Mail(this first set came out in September 2010)and which are available in collectors packs just like this one. I'd used the stamps at work and the empty pack would otherwise have ended up in the bin so I rescued it to use here and then added a few bird silhouettes just to finish it all off. Must remember to tweet about it too....(groan!!)
Bagpuss, Union Jack and Strawberries 19 July 2011 (#145)
I found this grafitti style Union Jack in an advert in the usual free newspaper. I added a few other tidier Union Jack stickers, one single Bagpuss sticker and the strawberries came from a style magazine - four rather different sources to produce one unique piece of mailart!
La Bastille Day with French cockerels 14 July 2011(#140)
With it being Bastille Day in France I concocted these French cockerels and after they'd appeared on the artistamp I rounded up a whole flock of them to make them spell out France!

This piece was the second piece I done for Andy for his interview, just before we left for our honeymoon.
Because he works in educational technology, he actually made his presentation on the iPad, but wanted to use postcards as a backup in case it went wrong. For his last job he tells me he made a presentation on paper and reckons that got him the job. So he thought he'd try it again this time as it seemed a pretty good idea.
75/365 - Portugal flag
Andy had an interview for a job, in which he had to make a presentation showing something that he had done at work. He wanted to talk about a project that he done with flickr across schools in Europe and so he made me draw some postcards showing the countries that were brought together by his project.
This is the first one,Portugal.
Union Jack - 05 March 2011 (#22)
Hannah made this Union Jack flag from tissue and it's going off to Italy today. She missed off the diaganol red stripes but you get the idea!
St David's Day 01 March 2011 (#18)
With it being St. David's Day today I made up these "stamps" and sent them off to an artshop in Wales!
