This old-timey picture is from a brown shopping bag and when you glue a glossy piece of paper to it, it really creates a depth. Feels like you could walk into those daffodils.

I just can't resist fruit boxes. Look at that lovely shine on that tomato, and with the most rudimentary printing. I started my relationship with Andy by sending him a postcard that was the entire side of a pineapple box which either the Australian or British post saw fit to never deliver!!! So another, smaller attempt.

Merry Christmas all! I hope everyone has a good one and has the time to relax, enjoy and make a wee bit of art. Mine is indeed wee. I don't think you'll be able to tell, but what's going on here is a weave of daffodils and the winter Christmas paper a gift from our friends came in. These friends have just recently moved to Australia from America and the idea of a hot summer Christmas was strange so we tried to ease them into their new lifestyle by having a Christmas picnic at the beach. A very fun day. I will send this card to them.

Palette getting a bit thin.....

Back on track trying to use up the daffodil book.

This is my first woven postcard. I like the result but am afraid it wont stand up to postal strain. What do you regular paper weavers do?

OK, I'm gonna stick with this theme until my daffodil book is all used up. And before summer gets too hot and I can't pretend it's still Spring anymore.

I wasn't planning on doing any work on a theme but, I have destroyed a book about daffodils and as spring is just giving itself up to summer down here I thought now is the time to use up all these flower images.
