Mailart 365 has moved

Another piece that I took all the way from the UK. There were a few pieces that I had laying around in the art room when we left that I couldn't bear to throw out, so we took them with us, with the intention of finishing them off in Hanoi.

This one was a pair of fabric scissors that I drew from life in pencil but just left unfinished. As it turns out, I'm really glad I left it a while. Although the pencil lines were quite good, I couldn't make out which lines were shading and which were solid, so I decided to make all darker bits black regardless. The effect was quite stark and I am really pleased with it. Have to try this again
