I can't believe that I'm actually managing to shift all the Sharpies. At the moment we're selling on average 1 a day, usually with a flurry of activity at the weekend. The number is perfect as it does mean that I have to draw on average 1 envelope a day, which fits my agenda perfectly and means that I can send out a piece of mailart a day. Awesome.
This piece comes from a black and white masterpiece of Shojo manga by Moto Hagio. Moto Hagio is considered to be the "Founding Mother" of Shojo manga, which is manga for girls. Her artwork is exquisite and it was a huge pleasure putting colour into her lines. Even in black and white, her artwork bleeds colour if that makes any sense
