26/365, envelope full of feathers stamped and rubber stamped with a bird theme. (That cockatiel stamp was made for me by TeaOlive.) Sent to Rita in Oregon.
27/365 & 28/365, handmade envelopes from the latest USA Philatelic catalog; letter inside is written on philatelist stationery, too. Owney the Postal Dog hangs out with the Dogs at Work underneath him, and the industrial design postage is happy to see his friends. Heading through military mail, so I didn't want to make it hard for the military mail workers to find the addresses. Sent to Robert & Martin.
29/365, hand-drawn monumental outlines of Washington with a notecard inside that features the Capitol building, with coordinating vintage postage. Obviously, collage is more my forte. Sent to my mom in Florida.
30/365, hand-drawn future DC streetcar with a notecard inside that features old DC streetcar tracks, with coordinating postage. Of note is that the initial "d." is also the logo for the District Department of Transporation (DDOT). Return address is between streetcar tracks, too. Sent to my husband, the transit nerd.
