The internet was not playing ball again so I had the time to actually draw this myself based on an advert for The Lion King Musical, not too bad for a first effort, what do you think?

Lion (King) inspired 24 September 2011 (#210)
The internet was not playing ball again so I had the time to actually draw this myself based on an advert for The Lion King Musical, not too bad for a first effort, what do you think?

Well done! I've never seen the musical but the Disney film was my first movie in theaters. It was the week of my birthday and my dad took me to Toys R Us before we went to the movies and bought me a Simba stuffed animal. I had seen the commercials on TV and when they raise Simba on top of the cliff I had snuck down to the front of the theatre and lifted my stuffed animal above my head so everyone saw it's silhouette on the screen.

Aaawww, what a great story! I haven't seen the musical or the film so I think we will have to rectify that. I am planning on taking my two girls to see a show so it looks like it may have to be The Lion King, then I can do another drawing actually at the theatre!
