Pos, this is for your edification. The North American alewife fish, is observed here carrying its stars-n-stripes mug, apparently heading for a refill. Are all of the mug-carrying fish tea-drinkers? Do some prefer coffee? These questions, and many others, will occupy the minds of fishologists until nature deigns to reveal her answers.

Oh, and I have a question for you, Scott. I copied this address for you from....somewhere, and am curious that there is no "shire" or similar after Hounslow. Then I saw "Middlesex" on your website. So now I whine to you: "Do I have to add "Middlesex" to the address...now..after I've finished this? Whine, whine...." And what's up w/putting your country before your postal code!?!? Are you a rebel or something?!?!

You just MIGHT be having too much fun!

Mary Alice, I adore this card! And I love the nickname you have bestowed upon Scott.

Any mail with fish is excellent...To quote Martha "It's a good thing".. :)

i love this art and the comments below it.

Hi there Mary Alice/mabb and thank you so much for this wonderful piece of edification which has cheered me up no end and which I am really looking forward to receiving. I believe most of the fish which appear at the beginning of July tend to drink tea but some Star(bucks)fish would always choose to drink coffee(they will make an appearance soon!). The fishologists I know are currently on holiday in Argentuna...
Regards your postal questions, Hounslow is the name of the part of London where Positively Postal Towers is based, Middlesex is the county name but there is absolutely no need to have that on there, the main thing is the postcod(e)and as it wouldn't mean much to overseas Postal Authorities, that's why I put the U.K. first so they know to fling it over here and then Royal Mail does its magic with the postcode! Scott aka Pos!

***Argentuna!***Postcod!*** How fabulous! I just woke up and have now spit my coffee all over my desk, laughing at your cleverness...before I go grab some paper towels, and more coffee, let me just thank you for clearing up the address thing...all of that fascinates me...snort...choke...gasp....be back laytah....

Have returned, keyboard clean, coffee mug full (plain red mug - "I am not a fish!" Said in the manner of Richard Nixon, fingers in the air in V formation.) But can't stay after all; husband is nudging me to get ready to go out and chomp on hamburgers and pickles - never too early, either. But first, will run over to your "stripers," Pos, to oooo and ahhh....

What a fun envelope and discussion! It reminded me of an envelope I made last summer and just now posted on my blog.

Pos, this reminds me - I went to your website July 4, but did not see any fish...please to explain.....

And thanks for the comp, Patty. Now I must note on my tood list: "Visit PD's blog and look at envelope she made last summer!"
