From Usagi Yojimbo volume 3, this is my most ambitious piece yet as it contained 3 main focal points where it could have gone wrong. Really pleased with how this turned out, but not too happy with my new Sharpie fineliner. Prefer the old Faber-Castel one.
This was done this weekend in the pub in Cornwall on a well-deserved 5 day break in the car.

Wow, you packed a lot into this piece. I agree that the pen can make a difference. Everyone has a favorite.

Thanks folks! I love the idea of framing using something other than straight lines, it's quite a learning curve.

Congrats, Andy! Can't believe you did all of that shading! Nice image - sitting in a pub in Cornwall, drawing...ahhhhhh.....COLD beer at the ready.....

Thanks Mann! Actually we were on the mulled wine that night. They have a mulled wine machine in the King Arthurs Arms and we needed something to get us through the night as it was helll of stormy and we were camping...

Andy, oh my gosh - what a great story! And...I LOVE typos - I have morphed into Thomas Mann! I only have a fuzzy idea of who he was - smart guy, tho - so I am VERY flattered!!! Ha-ha-ha!!!
