Making mailart every day since December 1st, 2010!
Mailart 365 has moved
Thanks for visiting Mailart 365. This site is an archive of mailart produced by artists doing mailart 365 from December 2010 to August 2016. As of July 2016, we moved to a new and more modern site at www.mailart365.com. Come on over and check us out there
At least it's an attempt to honor women and their work. And nowhere near as much trouble as researching doctors and academics and teachers who were women who contributed massively. (Hmm. Do I sound cynical?)
This is wonderful, Boo! My mom is a quilter. She didn't make her first quilt until she was in her mid-60s. She has an amazing sense of color and pattern. My three sisters and I are in awe of her ability to combine colors and patterns.
Postmuse, I just saw your comment. I started quilting 3 or 4 years ago -- Until then, I'd always hated quilts. I love conversational prints and sewing little tiny bits of fabric together.
