I love this one. I was raised in New England and though we studied the Civil War, it was never as real as Revolutionary War (which was all too real for me, but that is another story). When I moved to Pennsylvania 6 years ago, I visited my first Civil War battlefield. Being there made the history real.

Wow, Paula! I must learn how to do the digital thing. You do it so well.
Just last night, I was reading a book of poetry written by my husbands GGgandfather and he has poems about the civil war and aftermath. It has a Yankee view point.
