Playing a bit of catch up after a trip to the Daintree rainforest. I'm loving using tissue paper and the tourist info on animals in the rainforest. However, this one does not do the Southern Cassowary justice. I'm going to have to find a color photo of one to show you all how gorgeous they are. 5-6 feet tall with feet the size of dinner plates and heads that are bright blue and red, not to mention a crazy 4 inch dinosaur crest growing off the top of their heads!! Magnificent. And we got to see them in the wild!!!

Like so many of our wonderful animals here - you do have to be careful around them. Their feet can kill!!! Their colours are so vibrant - be you'll miss all this when you go back.

I want to go there one day. Love this collage! The colors and transparent paper really make it special.
