12 March 2011 So I have a BS in Forensic Chemistry (which I am not using in the Forensic field at this time). I was browsing a used bookstore in this area that has shelves full of books for a dollar looking to find something to use in art. I found a little 5x7 book titled "The Blue Book of Crime: Science of Crime Detection" copyright 1941. It has 80 pages with some case studies toward the back and the front describes mainly fingerprinting with illustrations. I was thrilled to see this old book on a subject that has had many advances since 1941. It is mainly useful as an historical reference to how things used to be done and for basic foundation information. I decided to use it for some postcard art since it is not really relevant and is written like bad pulp fiction.
