This is my first Mailart piece & my ONLY Valentine's Day tribute - don't believe in all the guff! Lost a lot of photos in the recent floods here in Brisbane, a friend took a pile home & dried them for me. The results are some wonderful "flood art" - the damage/artistic work is random and I will introduce more of them to you over the months. Think this will be cathartic for me - finding a use for something that could have been thrown out as completely ruined. I have added stitching around to enhance & hold the layers together. I will be sending some of these pieces to other Mailart members over the next year. Hope you like my "flood art".

Wow - flood art! What a great idea! Your site really shows how bad it's been down there. I'm glad you could make something of the damage and hope that the armageddon that seems to be happening Down Under, settles down

Thanks Andy - was really unsure on what to do - am actually keeping this card - it's of my husband & I so don't anyone else needs it - maybe I'll post it to him (he's not at all the romantic type - although I did get roses last week after a particularly weepy day!) The sun is shining again today so maybe all is well with the world again!

Good stuff on the labelling Chris - I've now added your 365 link to the sidebar so you can see all your work in one place!
