Making mailart every day since December 1st, 2010!
Mailart 365 has moved
Thanks for visiting Mailart 365. This site is an archive of mailart produced by artists doing mailart 365 from December 2010 to August 2016. As of July 2016, we moved to a new and more modern site at www.mailart365.com. Come on over and check us out there
"car crash mailart"? Never heard that term before, but it's hilarious! I'm really excited about this and can't wait to get to know y'all better! Tomorrow I'll be cruising some profiles and try to figure out if there's a general gallery, or if you can search galleries or HOW to access the other uploads LOL
OMG, I don't believe my eyes! Not I'm going on input overload, Twitter is another new territory for me, but I just got out my camera and took a picture of that ...tweet, yeah? (I do watch TV LOL) I HAVE to get to bed and I can't tear myself away...I think you're gonna be a baadddd influence on me, my friend!
Hi box652! Well, I happened to have an extra little 2011 planner, so I just dedicated that for this project. For each day I'm entering a short note of what card I made, the number, and highlight the day if it's uploaded. So I figure that way it should be easy to see what NEW number I should be at and whatever backtrack number I'll have due next. We'll see if it works! Thanks for the welcome, and I'm REALLY off to bed now... Andy, I'm almost afraid to, but of course I'll check out your other mailart challenge in the afternoon!
Did I hear a YA'LL back up there in a post? Where did you live in the states, because we say YA'LL here in Kentucky! Strange to hear it from someone from a foreign country. But love it none the less. And love your work -- wonderful attention to detail. If I lived closer, I'd teach you Photoshop -- you'd love it!
Hi Paula! Yep, you heard a y'all! The young'uns are at school, and if I lay down now I'm not gonna wanna get up again anytime soon. But that doesn't matter 'cause I'm fixin' ta leave the house!
To answer your question: I had nothing but failing grades in english in school. Then I ended up going to the US and ended up in the FL panhandle. All those southern rednecks, oh boy, it sure took some gettin' used to! But I left my heart there! I had a job once where in the pm I'd call my boss and report "I'm done and I'm fixin'to go home" and each time he'd laught at me and ask me if I was a redneck LOL. That thick accent germans usually have I didn't have at all, if anything, people would ask what STATE I was from. These days I consider MYSELF a redneck LOL. Unfortunately since we've come back to Germany, my english skills have deteriorated a bit and there's an accent again. I get tongue tied and can't EITHER language properly anymore...in German I search for words, too!
Boy,l that was a long post...hope you'll end up back here to see it LOL

Haha! Yes I seem to be a bad influence on about 50 mailartists at the moment...
Are you up for another mailart challenge?
February 11, 2011 at 1:44 AM
Yowza.! I get confused with my numbers and I'm only trying to go in one direction!
This is awesome. I've played with tangles, and do hope to do more.
Splint? I think I missed a chapter. Welcome aboard!
