Oh Yes Andy as soon as possible!! Gabby, Shaun Tan is one of my favorites as well. He's Australian and I got to see him at in store signing, the store set up an easel and in about 15 minutes he drew an amazing picture that was later auctioned off for charity. It was such a gift to actually watch him draw!
My great husband gave me a book called "the bird king" for xmas that is Shaun Tan's sketches. Check it out.

His work is amazing!! But if I want anything shipped here it's basically an arm and a leg to get it to the US...
I want to see the movie "the lost things" by him. It looks fantastic
Plus you are pretty lucky to see his book signing and to see him draw! Jeez, thats a great day. haha

I ordered the softcover version of The Lost Thing from a used bookseller in the US for about $8 plus shipping. Description has it as in "new" condition. We shall see. It seems like the kind of story my three year old granddaughter would enjoy.

Well I hope she likes it! I get them from my library all the time. They are great stories even if they are on the dark side, such as "the Rabbits"
