Mathematic formula that is an interesting graphic, thought Andy would like it.

Oh I didn't realise Bucky-Fuller was a mathematician! I had previously only encountered the name in chemistry as he invented a geometric isomer of carbon (or something) called Buckminster-fullerine (Bucky balls).

I can't believe I actually remembered that...


I think this related to the geometric domes that they made for the 1967 World Fair, Fuller's 25 great circles. I'm impressed you know any of it, this kind of math is not my thing.


I was going to draw a Buckminster Fullerene for my B letter card but quickly got discouraged by all the straight lines trying to be spherical. My sketch is skewed. C60 too many hexagons and pentagons to connect and hard to draw it 3D.


I agree it would be hard to draw!


This is brilliant! It arrived today and I particularly like the quote you chose for the back. Wow. Got me thinking.

I particularly like the feel of it. What glue did you use?


Glad you liked it! I used liquitex gloss medium to glue and cover the card.
