Another experiment using Photoshop 'recipes', this one for 'eerie'! Dead body in the field and decaying structure in the background. Then a lot of layers and filters, etc. etc. etc.!

Death and an abandoned building, two things I adore! Beautiful.

LOL! This really does fit in with your artwork, doesn't it! BTW, love the gravestone rubbings! Fantastic series. There's a cemetery near my house on a bluff overlooking the Ohio River that has graves dating back to the 1700s, and a mausoleum with a glass-topped coffin in it. A riverboat captain buried his wife in it, and used to stop by when he was going up & down the river & go in and sit with her. There's also a headstone from the early 1800s in the shape of a little baby's crib. It's one of my favorite spots in the county.

Sounds like a great cemetery to do rubbings in. Wish there were more gravestones around here from the 1700.
Such a romantic story!
I should really write down my experiences of venturing to cemeteries, we have experienced some strange and amazing things so far.

Oh Prosthet you could so do with a visit to London. Brompton cemetery is not far Fromm my house and is crammed full of history. I went to an awesome talk there with Elena about graveyards in the time of the Victorians. Absolutely fascinating, and best bit of it for me - free food. Mmmmm graveyard and food. Something for everyone!
