I'm kicking off with a series which I will be sending to my Grandchildren. This is the first in the series. It is a watercolor, on Fabriano watercolor paper, using a washout tape method. It was then followed by a wash of Golden acrylic "fruitcake mixture" and topped off with a home made art stamp I made of one my paintings. The first three cards in this series will be going to my grandchildren.

Welcome to the group Sue! What is a "washout tape method"? I have much to learn!

Thanks you for the welcome and the kind comments. I am a total newbie to this type of blog, so please bear with me and hopefully, I won't make too many goofs. Washout tape is something watercolor artists use. It blocks color and saves the whites. It lets you cut out parts, paint, lift the tape, paint more, lift some more etc. Sue aka prettylily

Great stuff Sue. Thanks for the education! I've added your 365 link to the sidebar now. Is it ok with a capital letter, or do you prefer small letters?
