My first piece for this project starting on Jan. 1, 2011. I read about 1000 to 5000 red-winged blackbirds dropping dead from the sky in Beebe, Arkansas on New Year's Eve. They think possibly due to loud noise from fireworks. The number 2010 is a number to represent the amount of birds dead and also the death of the year 2010.
