| January 27, 2011. This mail art was sent to Virgy Milici in Italy for her "A Book About Death: Homage to Ray Johnson" project. And it is also today's entry to "365". It is not just a postcard, but it is a 20-page mail art moleskin book, postcard dimensions. The NYC exhibit asked each artist to sent in one postcard size art and then "books" were compiled. In Italy, the exhibit will have artists' books with the theme ABAD. This is one of the four mail art "boekies" I made during January, parallel to "365". So in reality, I am definitely making MORE than one-mail-art-per-day, and I see that "365" is the great catalyst for ideas for other mail art projects as well! |
