17/365 - It's snowing!!!

17/365 - It's snowing!!!

More of the clear stamp wrappers recycling.

I grew up in a country where every winter we had snow no less than 30cm high.
Now I live in London where unfortunately is snowing very rare and when it does is melting strait away. People here are scared of snow rather than enjoy it.

I really miss those days when I used to watch the snow flakes dancing in the moon light. I miss rushing out first thing in the morning and make a snow man and rolling in the snow. I miss ice skating on the way home on the the thick ice in the middle of the road until my shoes brake.(Most of the time we had icy snow on the road and I used to ice skate with my boots all the way home from school, every day in the winter. You can imagine my parents weren't very happy when they had to buy me new shoes because the sole had run out.)

I love snow, is so white and pure. For me there is no Christmas if everything is not white when I look outside of the window. I so wish it will snow this Christmas in London.....

Thank you for sharing your memories with us. I, too, would skate to and from school in the winter, but with ice skates on, with my shoes in my sack to change to once I'd arrived. The snow was packed down from cars, and it snowed months on end with no melting, so it really packed down. It's unreal now since I don't think it's like that now. Where did I grow up? In the big city of Chicago, Illinois, USA. Your card is lovely.
