A while ago we decided to remove everything with enriched flour from our diet. In the US it is really difficult to find good bread that doesn't have enriched flour. So, when we found a local independent bakery where they used only the best ingredients (look at the ingredient list on the label I used on this postcard!) and made fantastic varieties of bread, we were thrilled. Our happiness was short-lived.
As usual, we did some background checking on the bakery, because we always try to know where our food comes from, and discovered the owners have an overt religious mission as part of their business mission. It sounds like in order to work for this company, you best be Christian, or willing to pretend you are. We don't frequent this bakery now.

I wish you lived nearby, my husband makes fabulous bread! You'd probably like his whole wheat or 10 grain.

To get great bread, with no "enrichment" of any sort, I'd consider moving to Michigan!
