Mailart 365 has moved

When I was a teen, I had a friend who was much more sophisticated than I (which didn't take much) and I spent lots of time at her house. One night, Darlene suggested rarebit as a late night snack during a sleepover. I heard "rabbit." It was a bit nervous about eating bunnies at midnight, but went along with her to the kitchen. Fortunately no furry animals were sacrificed.

On a related note ... my youngest sister drove us crazy one summer when she was about 5 years old asking to "ride the bunnies." It wasn't until we were on a camping trip that we realized she meant "rapids."

I had so much fun with this one. I hand-copied a piece of clipart for the little french fries and added little faces. I was going to add little berets to each fry instead of just the one on the far left, and still might before I send. The background is a transparency with a map of areas of France. The word "France" is a sticker (I added lots more glue!).

Not sure who will get this one yet. I have a long list I need to sort through and will do that while waiting for an appointment later this morning. Waiting is always easier if I keep busy.

I had no idea what I was going to do with this Dirty Potato Chip label when I started out this morning, but I knew I wanted it to be my D. And then tried to think of potatoes and what I could add to the card, and even found a cool Potato Museum online (great images ... but all copyright) but still nothing was working. I just kept thinking "dirty" and finally my mind led me to a faux magazine cover.

Sending this off to lindsaykillin up in Nova Scotia, where I think they are digging out of lots and lots of snow.
