Fishing in Italy for coins 26 September 2011 (#212)
Had some Italian stamps from an envelope at work which escaped cancellation and appear to depict fishing. I then added these coins images which were taken from remnants of an old Prestige stamp book. Might need to go fishing for some coins myself as now near the end of the month and not much money left!
To coin a phrase 17 July 2011 (#143)
I tried this concept last week by actually rubbing over a 10p coin with colour pencils but the coin design didn't come through very clearly so I've gone over and done it digitally. You'll probably need to enlarge the image to see it better but I think it's worked pretty well and has got another idea out of my head!
